Hello, Radiant Soul! I recently had a client share something that really made me smile: they told me they see me as a “spiritual therapist.” I’ve also been questioned many times what is the difference between coaching and therapy so here we are!

Let’s dive into that, shall we?

Coaching: A GPS for Your Life’s Journey (But with a Twist!)

Coaching is often described as having a personal GPS. You’re the driver, and I’m the voice guiding you on the best route to your destination. But here’s the thing—I’m not your average mindset coach. Sure, we’re focused on setting goals, taking action, and moving toward the life you want. But I go a lot deeper than just helping you change your habits or think positively.

We’re talking about releasing subconscious blocks and energetic blocks that are standing in the way of your growth. So, while many coaches will help you set goals and make action plans, I dive into what’s really going on beneath the surface. Is there a hidden fear or limiting belief that’s been running the show for years? Are there old emotional patterns or energies that are keeping you stuck? That’s the deeper work we do together.

Think of coaching with me as a journey of both transformation and deep healing, where we move forward into the future while also clearing out any baggage from the past that no longer serves you. We blend practical action with inner work to create the most aligned version of yourself.

Therapy: Unpacking Your Suitcase of Emotions

Now, therapy—therapy’s a bit like unpacking a suitcase that’s been stuffed in the attic for years. The suitcase is your past, your emotions, and your traumas. The therapist’s role is to help you carefully open that suitcase, unpack everything, and then help you process and heal those experiences. It’s not about the destination, but about understanding and resolving what’s been weighing you down.

Therapy tends to focus more on healing old wounds, mental health, and emotional processing. It’s deep, reflective work that helps you understand yourself better and resolves past trauma. Therapists are licensed professionals trained to help you work through emotional pain or mental health issues, using a variety of therapeutic techniques. In my own experience therapy hasn’t gone into the subconscious mind but more the conscious, which is a huge difference.

Coaching with a Dash of the Spiritual

So, where does my “spiritual therapist” title come in? While I absolutely believe in the power of coaching to help you move forward, I also weave in a deeper, more spiritual and energetic aspect. It’s not just about setting goals; it’s about aligning your mind, body, and energy. We’ll work together to clear subconscious blocks that might be keeping you from truly thriving and address energetic blocks that are preventing your flow and abundance.

In a session with me, we’re not just talking about the steps to reach your next goal (though we absolutely do that!). We’re also checking in with your inner wisdom, your body’s energy, and your deeper intuition. Sometimes that means shifting the energy in your environment, clearing old emotional patterns, or releasing limiting beliefs that you may not even know were holding you back. That’s why my approach isn’t just coaching—it’s transformational.

Not Everyone in My Community Is Spiritual—And That’s Totally Okay!

Not everyone in my community is here for the spiritual stuff. Some of you are all about personal development, growth, and achieving your goals without diving deep into the spiritual realm—and I absolutely love that too!

I’m an inclusive coach, which means I cater to you and your beliefs, whatever they may be. Other times, you need therapy to process emotions and experiences that are holding you back. And sometimes, a blend of both—plus a little spiritual exploration—helps you connect with your higher self and create a life that feels both aligned and fulfilling.
